Description:
In Eisenstadt in 1770/71, Haydn composed his four-movement Salve Regina, which is characterized by the concertante use of the organ. Haydn proves to be a master in the musical realization of the Marian text. Originally written for four vocal soloists, a choral performance is certainly possible.
