Description:
Donna Diana' is the only opera of von Reznicek that is still to be performed sometimes. Its style is charming (viennese) and diverting with some spanish coloring. The overture, unique in its freshness and sunny cheerfulness, figures among the most-performed pieces in concert programs all over the world.
