Description:
The Hungarian Dances (Ungarische Tänze), evoking directly the warm blood of Hungarian gypsy music, consist of 21 dances, originally composed for piano four hands. The 5th dance is probably the most celebrated of the set. In fact it was based on the csardas by Keler Bela titled Bartfai emlek which Brahms mistakenly thought was a traditional folksong.
