Smile' was heard for the first time in the movie 'Modern Times' from 1936 starring Charlie Chaplin as main actor.
Chaplin himself wrote the music while Geoffrey Parsons and John Turner wrote the lyrics for Nat King Cole and his premiere recording of the song in 1954. This recording is among his most successful. After that, 'Smile' are recorded and performed a numerous times.
This arrangement can be performed with vocal soloist, Altosax soloist or F-horn Soloist.
