Description:
Living next Door to Alice was originally performed by the Australian vocal-trio New World in 1972. The song archived a rather limited success until 1976 when British band Smokie did their cover-version. Soon it became a chart-topper both at home but also abroad, especially in Germany. After that, several other artists have made their recordings of it both on stage and record.
