Description:
It´s always a challenge to make rhythmic pop songs playable with wind instruments only. And here is another 'mission accomplished' by arranger Inge Sunde. One Way Ticket to the Blues is one of the many international hits by the American singer, pianist and composer Neil Sedaka. The song was recorded in 1959. The arrangement has a driving rhythm, written for 5 flexibel parts (brass and woodwinds) plus optional parts for piano/keyboard, bass guitar and drums. The introduction should be played in a steady tempo, and make sure to maintain the steady beat until the end.
