Description:
Baroque tradition remained alive in the music of Salzburg Cathedral until the first decades of the 19th century. This included the addition of three trombones, which are led with alto, tenor and basso in tutti colla parte. Although not specifically noted in the autographs of the masses, the involvement of trombones for K. 65 (61a) is documented as authentic by primary sources.
