Description:
Inspired by Jakob Hiebeler's "Füssener Totentanz" from 1602 (a dance of death painting with rhyming verses), Ralf Klotz created a work in which he combines the rhyming verses of 10 of Hiebeler's paintings with the text of the 90th Psalm (Lord, teach us to remember that we must die). The result: a successful, colorful synthesis of polyphony, psalmody and moderately modern tonal language! The work is given special depth by the multimedia combination of music, speaker and possible image projection.
