Description:
The three poems are taken from the poetry collection "Sanskrit" by Georg Maria Roers SJ. In my search for poems for a song cycle on the theme of the "forest", they came together as if by themselves, and the order in which they were composed came about quite naturally. They became songs with delicate musical gestures that fit into clear forms so as never to cover up the intimate and intense imagery of the poems, but to think them further in terms of sound.
