Description:
The overture to "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" concludes the series of seven great Mozart opera overtures published by Bärenreiter with the Urtext of the "New Mozart Edition".
This edition contains not only the version without the concert close as Mozart left it, but also the version with the famous concert close by Johann Anton André, which he published in 1807.
The concerto ending by André, just over 90 bars long, appears here newly edited and set according to the first edition of the parts and André's autograph, which was generously made available by the André Archive.
