Description:
Three dances which - all three played in succession - could represent a party in a castle or palace: The ladies in light-colored, wide dresses would like to take quick, small steps, but also just sway gently back and forth to the melody in between. The men, on the other hand, want to cut a good figure and therefore wear smart boots. They are not quite as light on their feet as the ladies, but they try very hard. And the horses out in the meadow are celebrating their own magnificent party and are happy that no one is sitting on them that evening. (Dorothea Hofmann)
