La Forêt enchantée

The evocative title La Forêt enchantée [The enchanted forest] came to me purely by chance and the subtitles followed spontaneously: 1. par un matin [One morning] , 2. dans le lointain, elfes et lutins [In the distance, elves and goblins] 3. les heures heureuses [The happy hours] . I don't know exactly why this fairy-tale world: did the harp sounds do it to me, or was it a personal desire? The first movement describes the scene: in the forest on a quiet morning. There are already mysterious signs in the middle of the sentence. The second sentence confirms this: Fairy and goblins gather and one by one, in great excitement, interfere. In the third movement, calm returns, the happy hours flow away in the fullness of nature. Caroline Charrière, April 2007, Fribourg, Switzerland
