Description:
My organ fantasy on the Gregorian chant "Dominus Vobiscum" consists of three sections: The unison presentation of the three-note motif is followed by a toccata-like section dominated by rhythm. In the second section, the theme appears in two-part arabesques set against sustained harmonic backgrounds. The third section returns to the toccata-like character. The piece finally fades away with an ethereal conclusion. (Christoph Weinhart)
