Description:
As três Marias (2016): "Três Marias" is the name in Brazil for those three stars that we know as the three belt stars of the hunter Orion. What a contrast of names! On the one hand, the wild, pagan hunter Orion – on the other hand, three holy and beautiful women, namely Mary, the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene and Mary Cleophae, the three Marys whom the Gospel of John reports together standing under the cross. This "song without words" is my homage to the twinkling, starry night sky of Brazil. Duration: approx. 4'
The world is full of white spaces (2019): The "white room" is the place of infinite possibilities: all the familiar roles have disappeared, all familiar colors have been erased – now all that counts is the new thought, the new movement, the new gaze, made possible by the reflective white of the walls that delimit the space, which at the same time protect and highlight: white as a symbol of infinity. Duration: approx. 3'
Comet dust (2018): Comets tell of the formation of the solar system. Their tail, which can be seen from the earth, is striking: the periodically occurring, so strange-looking comets have been magical signs of God, prophecies, signs of good luck or misfortune for mankind for thousands of years. And some comets come all the way to Earth: as shooting stars, meteorites are "comet dust", fiery projectiles from space, which probably brought the beginning of all life to Earth. Duration: approx. 5'30
