Description:
The new piano reduction of Mozart's Coronation Concerto K. 537 is based on the musical text of the New Mozart Edition and completes the performance material which has been available for many years (BA 5318). The piano reduction is accompanied by a separate piano Urtext part, which not only enables the soloist to perform the work as has been customary in recent decades, but also - and for the first time since Mozart's time - to improvise over the tutti basses and lead the ensemble from the piano.
To complete this new edition, a separate booklet with cadenzas and selected entrances by August Eberhard Müller, Carl Reinecke and Max Reger is included.
