Ruth Schönthal

Vom Sonnenaufgang bis zum Sonnenuntergang: Stücke für Sam & Jill

The music of Ruth Schonthal, who would have been 100 years old in 2024, touches listeners to the core. This is because the composer and pianist has processed human feelings, experiences and destinies in all her works. There is nothing abstract or detached about her music. She speaks directly to the audience. She often describes very personal things that are important to many people. In this collection, Ruth Schonthal has compiled short impressions of a day - from pink clouds to the starry sky.
