This edition was a positive protest action against the cuts to the subjects of music and art in Bavarian elementary school from 2024/2025. It shows how incredibly creative the young generation can be if you take them by the hand and encourage them properly.
In just a few months, the renowned teacher Oliver Ringleb composed 30 new pieces for the piano together with 18 children, young people and some adults.
Volume 2 contains 14 pieces for advanced pianists, stylistically a colorful mixture of many new jazz pieces with chord figures and an invitation to improvise such as: La fiesta playera, Chiemsee ... but also quiet, meditative pieces such as: Gelassenheit, Badlands, Im Regen ... or pieces for pop piano like: The Freedom of Life, Sonnenaufgang auf Reisehöhe ... and the four-handed Running Late and many more.
The pieces can be downloaded on all popular streaming portals from under: Oliver Ringleb MEHR MUSIK! Volume 2.
Oliver Ringleb and his students will donate half of the sales proceeds to the association: Musik für Kinder e.V. in Munich, which, among other things, subsidizes piano lessons for children and young people from low-income families.
