Mozart's works for piano four hands are among the most important contributions to this repertoire.
In the present critical-practical Urtext edition based on the "New Mozart Edition", Wolfgang Rehm now publishes the works in revised form and with a new preface. The volume is supplemented by an appendix edited by Michael Töpel, which contains not only the fragments K. 497a (Fr 1787i) and K. 500a (Fr 1791a), which he completed compositionally, but also individual pieces for organ, organ works and organ roll in transcriptions for piano four hands. Informative prefaces to the main part and the appendix (German/English) as well as critical notes on the sources (German/English) complete this volume, which is as indispensable as it is substantial for piano lessons and pianists alike.
