Funkelnde Linien

Red-orange, green-gold, blue-black. Broad bands of color, in constant motion, then delicate drawings again, vibrantly etched into the air. In between, two shadowy sketches, hatched in black and white; no sooner have they appeared than they vanish again. Time is no longer a category; we are beyond time, beyond any measurable time, beyond place and time. Are we still before it—or are we already after it? What remains seems like the trail of a burnt-out meteor—and the heightened intensity of the bright, luminous, sparkling colors. (Dorothea Hofmann)
