Description:
Immerse yourself in the fascinating origins of solo cello literature: The "12 Ricercate" represent an indispensable milestone in Baroque cello music. This premium sheet music edition from the renowned publisher Schott Music offers cellists a truly exceptional treasure: alongside the newly edited musical text prepared by cello virtuoso Julius Berger, this volume includes the complete original first edition from 1687 (Bologna) as an authentic facsimile. This unique combination allows for both a stylistically informed, expressive interpretation and a direct, captivating look into 17th-century historical sources. Ideal for concert performances, the study of historically informed performance practice, or personal discovery—this edition masterfully bridges scholarly depth and practical musicianship, making it a vital addition to any cellist's library.
