Description:
Die Etüden von Friedrich August Kummer eignen sich bestens für den Unterricht, insbesondere wegen der Begleitung durch ein 2. Cello. Sie zeichnen sich durch eine sehr systematische Gliederung aus, führen geschickt durch den Quintenzirkel und enthalten dabei Übungsstoff in allen Schwierigkeitsgraden. Ursprünglich stammen die Etüden aus dem Anhang von Kummers Celloschule für den ersten Unterricht op. 60. Diese Neuausgabe versammelt sie erstmals vollständig in zwei Bänden als 92 progressive Etüden. Sie folgt der 1839 erschienenen Erstausgabe (Verlag Friedrich Hofmeister, Leipzig) und übernimmt im Wesentlichen die originalen Fingersätze und Strichbezeichnungen. Zur besseren Lesbarkeit wurde die Zahl der Fingersätze leicht reduziert.
Band 1 (ED22371) wendet sich an den Anfangs- und Mittelstufenunterricht, Band 2 (ED22372) legt den Schwerpunkt auf den musikalischen Vortrag des fortgeschrittenen Schülers.
Friedrich August Kummer (1797-1879) war Schüler von Friedrich Dotzauer und Bernhard Romberg und bildete seinerseits berühmte Cellisten wie Julius Goltermann oder Bernhard Cossmann aus.
Band 1 (ED22371) wendet sich an den Anfangs- und Mittelstufenunterricht, Band 2 (ED22372) legt den Schwerpunkt auf den musikalischen Vortrag des fortgeschrittenen Schülers.
