Description:
The caprices for violin solo by Karol Lipiński (1790-1861) deserve special attention from violinists, owing to the multitude of technical problems they deal with. The Three Caprices op. 29 were written in the years 1835-36. They were first published by J. Schuberth & Co. of Leipzig, and dedicated Á Mr. Gustav Adolph Bernard. It is this edition that served as a basis for the present one. In the present volume a few errors in the first edition have been corrected. - Irena Dubiska.
