Description:
More than sixty years after the publication of Jarmil Burghauser's edition, Bärenreiter is publishing a new critical edition of Dvorák's "Rusalka" (BA10438), which meets today's editorial standards and on which this single edition of the famous Rusalka aria is based. In "Gütiger Mond hoch am Himmelszelt" from the first act of the opera, a few small changes have also been made to the Czech vocal text based on Dvorák's autograph.
The new piano reduction by Petr Koronthály largely adopts the excellent and easily playable piano setting which Antonín Dvorák is known to have been involved in and which he also authorized.
