The undisputed number ONE in the Christmas repertoire of choirs and in popularity with audiences is Bach's "Christmas Oratorio". The Christmas story in the biblical text according to Luke and Matthew, combined with free poetry and individual hymn verses, achieves a pictorial radiance of timeless beauty together with the clearly structured, festive baroque music. In order to be able to keep up with the many, sometimes quite rapid sixteenth-note coloraturas such as the "glorious choirs" (No. 1), the "pleasure" (No. 21, Vivace!), the "snorting" of the proud enemies (No. 54), it is particularly recommended to practice with the app's slow mode / Carus Choir Coach offers choir singers the unique opportunity to individually rehearse their choir voice in the overall sound of choir and instruments. A separate audio (or MP3) CD or download album with all choral parts is available for each voice part. The Carus Choir Coach is based on recordings by renowned interpreters who have performed from the carefully prepared Carus Urtext edition. The choral movements are available in three versions: 1) original recording, 2) Coach: each part is played along on the piano, original recording in the background, 3) Coach in slow mode: complicated parts can be practiced effectively by reducing the tempo of the Coach to 70% of the original. / The musicians are: Regula Mühlemann (soprano), Anna Lucia Richter (soprano), Wiebke Lehmkuhl (alto), Sebastian Kohlhepp (tenore), Michael Nagy (basso) - Gaechinger Cantorey - Hans-Christoph Rademann.
