Description:
The well-known English-Baroque choral movement "Thou visitest the Earth" can be located around the turn of the year ("You saturate the earth with blessing and crown the year with your goodness"), but is also suitable for "year-round" use as a general song of thanksgiving. The original instrumentation for tenor solo, SATB and basso continuo was arranged in an exemplary manner for SABar and organ (piano), whereby the subtle independence of the vocal parts is clearly evident and the vocal part in combination with the newly created keyboard accompaniment produces a balanced sonority. A stylish repertoire extension for all choirs singing in three parts! With German and English text.
