Description:
Cab Calloway's Minnie the Moocher owes its current renown to the film The Blues Brothers. When performing the song, Calloway called on the audience to repeat each sentence in a sort of pitch and reply style. However, the phrases that the audience was asked to repeat were often so complicated they were unable to repeat them correctly and simply burst into laughter. This particular arrangement can be performed either with a singer or simply as an instrumental version. The two versions are sold together. Audience involvement is also optional.
