Description:
Ziani's solo motet, which can be considered on a par with Buxtehude's Jubilate Domino, has its place in the Advent and Christmas season. It was first performed in Vienna in 1713. The voice and the viols move within the same compass, which leads to a very cohesive and intimate tonal impression.
