After the introduction with empty strings and the simplest note values, the "Rufterz" follows as a basic and orientation interval, particularly with regard to learning clean intonation. Using children's songs, all of which have lyrics so that the melody lines can always be understood as a whole, all fingers are gradually used in the first booklet and note values from whole notes to quavers are introduced. Special attention is paid to reading musical notation right from the start; in addition, simple string transitions and basic stroke types are practiced.
The booklet, which is particularly child-friendly with enlarged music and enchanting color illustrations, comes with a sheet of music cards to cut out, which the little pupils can use to invent numerous laying and guessing games and later also learn scales and note names.

The first volume of the "Violin Recital Album" (BA 9668), edited by Kurt and Christoph Sassmannshaus and Melissa Lusk, is the ideal accompaniment, comprising 20 pieces in the first position with piano accompaniment and an alternative second violin part, with which the young pupils can present their learning progress in school concerts. The two booklets edited by Egon Saßmannshaus, "Spielbuch für Streicher" (BA 9698) and "Weihnachtsspielbuch" (BA 9699), give even the youngest pupils the opportunity to try their hand at string ensemble playing.

A complete piano accompaniment is available for the first volume of the violin school. (BA 10751)
The piano part for each piece serves as a harmonic background: it supports the violinist while at the same time giving him sufficient space. The piano accompaniment is easy to play, e.g. by the violin teacher or a parent.

The author
