The focus of the third volume is on duet playing in a wide variety of time signatures and keys, whereby the versatility of the selected pieces can trigger great joy in music-making and at the same time develop a feeling for the different musical styles. On this basis, the familiar fingering patterns and bow strokes are deepened and further developed; in addition, the first embellishments (trills, lead notes, bounce trills) and the triplet as a new rhythmic unit are introduced.

The second volume of the "Violin Recital Album" (BA 9668), edited by Kurt and Christoph Sassmannshaus and Melissa Lusk, is the ideal accompaniment, comprising 13 enchanting pieces in the first position with piano accompaniment and an alternative second violin part, with which young pupils can present their learning progress in school concerts.
