Description:
Published as a first edition by Markus Möllenbeck with a figured bass realization by Wolfgang Kostujak. This three-movement work (Largo–poco Allegro–Allegretto) was likely composed during Graun’s time in the service of Crown Prince Frederick (1735–1759), who later became King Frederick the Great of Prussia. "Graun’s sonata can be played entirely in the lower registers plus the octave register; it consists mostly of set pieces, but is certainly an interesting piece for players who are not yet very advanced. The new editions published by Walhall are very valuable additions to the repertoire; I highly recommend them!"
