The fifth volume of the successfully introduced Urtext edition contains the "Dix Pièces" and the "Fantasietta", variations on a Provençal theme, which appear here revised for the first time after the first edition.

The "Dix Pièces" are straightforward in outward form and, like many works by the organist at the Parisian church La Madeleine, reflect the intention to create compositions that can be played equally well in church services and concerts.

In addition to facsimile pages, the edition contains a critical report with a list of sources and a detailed preface, similar to the volumes already published. It provides information about the master's biography as well as instrument-specific and performance-related questions.
