The text "Iam dudum estivalia pertransiere tempora" (The summer season has long since passed) comes from the later-discovered supplementary part of the Codex Buranus. The codex was obviously used by those to whom it was accessible for occasional song entries until well into the 14th century. As a result of the continued collecting activity, the Codex Buranus grew into an impressive collection of songs and texts. More than 30 anonymous scribes were involved in its compilation. This refers to the manuscripts, not the authors.

In this winter song (text from Appendix 3 in the Codex Buranus) with its original 5 rhythmic verses, each rhymes masterfully with one of the five vowels. The setting was created as a jazzy pop ballad, in combination with a background choir. A constellation that once again passionately sings of the changing seasons before the finale.
