Mittendrin sind wir hier, in der Szenerie einer ausgelassenen Runde. Der Wirt kann kaum so schnell nachschenken, wie getrunken wird. Man hört und sieht: Launige Gespräche, das Lachen, den Spott und den Kneipengesang. Was in Text No. 205 im Codex Buranus an Ausgelassenheit benannt wird, zeigt die Kehrseite einer Welt, die durch Ordnungen festgefügt ist. Hemmungslos wird gespielt und ebenso hemmungslos wird getrunken; die Lust, die Gesetze zu übertreten, ist groß. Auch wenn die Runde es besser wissen müsste, dass der Würfelgott Decius ein ganz und gar unsicherer Zeitgenosse ist, egal! Deshalb lässt sich die Versammlung nicht den Spaß verderben. Es wird agiert, als wenn es keinen Morgen mehr gäbe.

Ein heiteres, chorisches Trinklied, bestens geeignet, um in entsprechenden Konzerten mit auf dem Programm zu stehen.
